Remodeling and adding to the ‘60’s ranch style tract house wedged between a busy street and a steep hillside were required given the owner’s extensive wish list. The results were dramatic with added amenities such as skylights, courtyards, focal points to compensate for the lack of views, the use of warm rich materials, and a converted front yard into additional indoor/outdoor living. The new home is an exceptional example of seeing and acting upon the potential an anonymous tract home.
